Description
This slub cotton saree is crafted with discharge handblock printing. Discharge printing is a mineral die-casting process that involves the use of tie and dye and a resist. This tie dye features a full range of shades of grey, khaki, brown, and red. Jaipuri tie-dye is more prevalent in Bagru (Jaipur). Printers use HARADA (naturally occurring tannic acid) as a pre-treatment to achieve lighter shades of brown.
