This traditional bagru hand block print cotton muslin saree with a blouse is a perfect blend of traditional and modern. Bagru handblock print has been used in India for more than two centuries. These hand block prints are applied on fabric in a unique way where the fabric is dyed and then the block is applied over it. The fabric is then put into a hot water bath to set the dyes. This process is done by hand and the craftsmen are very careful to ensure that there are no gaps in the pattern. The print on this saree is a classic Bagru design.
